Who operates this service
China Hidden Gems is operated by EyeVibe LLC. This policy describes information handled through chinahiddengems.com, its tools, digital products, and manual planning-request workflow.
Information we handle
- Site analytics: Cloudflare Web Analytics may process page, referrer, device, browser, country/region, and performance information to provide aggregate browser-based traffic measurement.
- First-party journey events: D1 stores allowlisted event names, product entity IDs, same-site source paths, small sanitized payloads, timestamps, and a short session hash when a CHG session exists. We do not intentionally include raw prompts, passwords, payment-card data, or full session tokens.
- Accounts and community activity: If you sign in or use interactive features, we may store account identity, session, comments, likes, check-ins, saved items, submissions, and moderation state.
- Planning requests: If you submit an intake, we store the itinerary context, question, email, optional contact channel/handle, source context, status, and manual response needed to review the request.
- Digital product fulfillment: Lemon Squeezy processes the email, order, billing, tax, payment, receipt, and download information needed for its hosted checkout and file delivery. We do not receive or store full payment-card details.
- Newsletter: A newsletter signup is separate from product-delivery email. A Lead Magnet receipt or download email alone is not treated by CHG as consent to marketing broadcasts.
How we use information
- Provide requested pages, tools, account functions, downloads, and manual responses.
- Measure aggregate journeys, diagnose failures, prevent abuse, and improve the product.
- Fulfill legal, fraud-prevention, accounting, security, or dispute obligations.
- Send marketing only through a separately disclosed subscription path.
Cookies and local storage
CHG uses an HttpOnly session cookie for signed-in sessions and may use browser storage for product state, event deduplication, and interface continuity. Cloudflare Web Analytics is configured as privacy-oriented browser analytics rather than behavioral advertising. Third-party checkout and authentication services apply their own cookies and policies on their domains.
Service providers and external links
We use Cloudflare for hosting, security, storage, and analytics; Firebase for initial social authentication; Lemon Squeezy for digital-product checkout and fulfillment; and service providers required for email, media, or support functions when enabled. Affiliate or other external links take you to a separate operator governed by its own policy.
Retention and security
We keep information only as long as reasonably needed for the stated purpose, security, records, dispute handling, and legal obligations. No system is perfectly secure. Do not place passport images, card numbers, passwords, PINs, or one-time codes in comments, assistant prompts, or planning-request text.
Your choices
You may avoid optional account and community features, decline marketing signup, or request access, correction, or deletion where applicable. Some records may be retained where required for fraud, tax, accounting, security, or legal purposes.
